We're excited to announce a talk with Shane Phillips, an urban planning policy expert and author of “The Affordable City: Strategies for Putting Housing Within Reach (And Keeping It There).” Shane will speak with us about topics in his book, ranging from building strong coalitions across the spectrum of organizations in our city, to practical policy suggestions. He'll talk us through his thesis, organized around what he calls Three S’s of Supply, Stability, and Subsidy. And as always, we’ll leave plenty of time for questions!
Doors open for social time at 6:30p; the talk begins at 7:00p. Virtual option via Zoom.
Haven't read his book yet? Pick it up from a bookstore in your area or borrow it from a local Carnegie Library branch!
