Join us for a conversation with Alicia Romano, Executive Director of Community Human Services (CHS) in Pittsburgh. CHS provides access to basic needs like food, clothing, and housing to our neighbors in Allegheny County. CHS manages low-barrier services like the former Vincentian de Marillac building in Stanton Heights, a community center at Wood Street Center in Downtown, emergency rental assistance, and so much more.
We’ll discuss the organization’s mission and how the Fair Housing Amendments and proposed counter-legislation by Theresa Kail-Smith affect their work. As always, we’ll save plenty of time for questions.
Room 310. Doors will open for social time at 6:30p; the talk begins at 7:00p.
